Jill K. Greene, of Boca Kitchens & Baths, has an undergraduate degree in Marketing Management from Bentley University, Waltham, MA and a degree in Interior Design, graduating with Highest Distinction, from the New York School of Interior Design, New York, NY. Her career in the design world has included Kitchen & Bath Designer for Royal Cabinet Company, a custom cabinet manufacturer, and Superior Custom Kitchens, both in New Jersey. In addition, she was the owner of Jill Cohen Design, LLC, a New Jersey company, for 7 years and Sand Castle Designs, LLC, of Florida, for 4 years. She is a member of NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association) and an Allied member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers). In April of 2012, Ms. Greene became a Certified Aging-In-Place Specialists (CAPS).
Design Philosophy - The foundation of design is function, form and aesthetics. Communication and trust are the keys to formulating a design vision around YOUR specific style and needs, and bringing YOUR vision to reality.
My design philosophy can be summed up by a quote by Billy Baldwin, (1903-1983), one of the most renowned American Interior Designers of the 20th Century. The worst thing any decorator can do is give a client the feeling that shes walking around somebody elses house; the rooms must belong to the owner, not to the decorator; and no rooms can have atmosphere unless they are used and lived in.
