ABOUT ME: I am Howard Page, a Kitchen and Bathroom designer with 35 years of experience in the industry. I have owned and operated a kitchen showroom, designed kitchens and baths for big box stores, home centers, and independent kitchen showrooms. My knowledge and experience have enabled me to generate many valuable contacts in the kitchen and bath industry. HOW I CAN HELP YOU WITH YOUR REMODELING PROJECT: In consultation with you, I will design your project and provide an estimate. We will work within your budget or help you establish a budget. I will begin your project by taking initial measurements and photographs. I can provide all materials and labor or just material if you have a contractor. I will work with the installer as necessary. Using my installer, we can normally do the average kitchen in five and a half days. The list of materials I can provide are: cabinets, countertop, fixtures, tile flooring, hardware, appliances and paint. You will pay for all material and labor directly to the venders. HOW YOU SAVE BY USING MY SERVICES: As a contractor and because I design and sell several kitchens and baths per year, I am able to get various discounts from cabinet sellers. I pass those savings on to you. Contractors normally get a 10% volume discount. I receive an additional discount because I hand them an order-ready product. They do not have to do a design or prepare an order. I also receive up to a third discount on all Whirlpool, Maytag and Kitchenaide appliances because of a prior relationship with them. HOW MY PROGRAM WORKS AND HOW MUCH DO I CHARGE: I meet with you, learn your needs, then design the kitchen or bathroom of your dreams. I will shop cabinets for the best price match and quality (good, better or best) of cabinets that you desire. In my pricing, I can include, Tile, appliances, labor, cabinets, countertops and installation. The cabinets are paid for by you and are ordered. We start your job on a Monday at 8 AM and complete the job on the next Saturday morning. I charge $1,000 or 10% of the total project whichever is greater. I require a $500 deposit when you decide to use my services and final payment when the job is completed to your satisfaction. In general, my contractor is paid 50% up front and the balance upon completion. Granted this is an over simplification of how the program works, so please call me and set up an appointment and we can discuss for your project.
